6. The Rhythm Principle
In fact, it offers a link between different elements of interior design This movement is essential for maintaining a visual rhythm between elements of different visual weight. The elements are repetitively arranged and the spaces between them create a sense of rhythm. Rhythm can be achieved in any living space by following three methods - repetition, alternative and progression. Repetition refers to the reuse of design elements such as color, texture and pattern or any other physical features such as home decor items neatly. An alternative is the rhythm creation method by alternating two or more pre-defined elements like ABABAB or ABCABC and so on. In Progress, ordered elements rise or fall or based on their size, gradient color or any other unique feature.

You can use an object that has two inverted colors like black and white by combining two or more shapes;
